This unique and beautiful property has been in our family for generations and retains all of its original charm, while having all of the modern conveniences that today’s holidaymaker has come to expect. It is set in 25 acres of private grounds; you are welcome to explore and pick fresh fruit from the many orange and lemon trees. Later in the year there are fresh figs too. The property faces south and so you will benefit from the wonderful Portuguese sun all day long. There are air conditioning and heating units in the corridor and office that keep the house cool in the summer and warm in the winter months. There are four bedrooms in total; all double, all equipped with linen and extra blankets for the slightly chillier autumn and winter evenings.  The kitchen is modern and equipped with all the utensils that you will need for self-catering, including coffee maker and juicer.  In the basement of the house there is table tennis equipment, many artefacts from the house, and maps and guides of things to do in the area.

For those al fresco meals there is a barbecue, and plenty of garden furniture, umbrellas and a terrace cover at the back of the house.  New features include covered dining areas in the front of the house, and shaded areas for lounging alongside the pool. A dishwasher and washing machine are provided too, along with ironing facilities in the utility room.  The two bathrooms are modern and come with all the towels that you will need, including beach towels. Sun-loungers and umbrellas surround the outdoor private pool which is 10 x 5 metres, heated, with the depth going from 1-2 metres.  All cleaning is provided, with extra maid service on request.
