1. Follow signs for the A3/A4/IP1/ Braga / Vila Real
2. Take the A4 to Vila Real
3. Pick up your ticket at toll
4. Carry on A4 for around 35 kms
5. Exit Junction 14 to Marco de Canavezes
6. Pay your ticket at toll (2.70 €)
7. Follow direction for Marco de Canavezes
8. Carry on N211 road for around 7.5 kms
9. After the bridge take 2nd right turn to Resende
10. Carry on for 2 kms up the hill straight over all roundabouts
11. Turn left towards Régua and continue to the next roundabout
12. Follow direction for Régua
13. Carry on straight ahead until you see in front of you a Hiperasia shop, a Petromar gas station and on your right hand side the Supermarket Pingo Doce (a nice place for shopping on the way to the house).
14. Turn right, you are now on the N211 road
15. Carry on straight ahead for 13.6 kms until you reach a fork in the road
16. Turn right to Pala / Mosteirô / Cinfais
17. You are now on the road R108, carry on for 3.7 kms
18. Pay attention to your left hand side of the road to the mileage signs
19. After passing sign km 69 you will see on your left hand side a sign saying Rua dos Valados
20. Go up the steep drive for a short distance
21. Bear to the left and pass through a green gate nr 100
22. Drive through the grounds following the sign for the house
